Garden Tours

On selected dates throughout the 2025 season, individuals may join an exclusive guided tour of Bowood’s stunning gardens and grounds, including Bowood's Walled Garden, prior to public opening.

Morning Garden Tours around 90 minutes at Bowood House & Gardens.
- Adult (17+) £23.50 per person
- Senior (60+) £21.00 per person

Morning Head Gardener Tours around 90 minutes at Bowood House & Gardens.
- Adult (17+) £25.50 per person
- Senior (60+) £23.00 per person

All tours must be pre booked in advance.

Please note tours do not include any catering. However on arrival you will be issued with a 10% catering discount card.

2025 Season Ticket Holders receive 10% off our Garden Tours, tickets can be purchased online in your members area. Please scan the QR code on the back of your season ticket card. 

Please note, these tours require around 60 to 90 minutes of walking with limited seating. The paths around the House and Grounds are gravel therefore wheelchairs and pushchairs may find it difficult, there is also steps leading down onto the lower terrace garden.

Bowood House & Gardens, opens at 10:30 and closes at 17:30. Bowood House & Terrace Gift Shop closes at 16:30 (last entry 16:00). 1st April - 2nd November 2025.

Garden Tours

A 90-minute guided tour of the upper and lower Terrace Gardens and the East Border and four-acre Walled Garden.

All tours have now passed for the 2025 season, dates for the 2026 season coming soon...

Head Gardener Tours

On a few selected dates throughout the season, Bowood’s Head Gardener provides a guided tour of the stunning gardens, including exclusive access to the four-acre Walled Garden.

Bowood's Head Gardener, David Glass will take you on a 90-minute guided tour of the upper and lower terrace garden and four-acre Walled Garden. David will provide you with detailed information on the history of the gardens and advise you on how his team care for the gardens throughout the year.
