There is something new to discover every visit!
For our 50th Anniversary season we are offering the following activities;
- Outdoor Activities organised by Mud & Guts
- Big Tree Climb organised by The Great Big Tree Climbing Company
- Creepy Critters presented by ZooLab
We are delighted to offer fun, engaging and educational events at Bowood this season.
Experience den building, fire lighting, game playing and fun all within an inspiring, learning and educational environment with Mud & Guts.
Test your balance and co-ordination by climbing trees; learning new skills and techniques in rope climbing with The Great Big Tree Climbing Company.
Get up close and hands-on with real live animals at 'Creepy Critters', hosted by ZooLab UK. Meet the likes of Snakes, Giant Snails, Tarantulas and more in this interactive show – book early to avoid disappointment.

Dates and session times available to view at booking stage.
- Mud & Guts: £21.50 per child
- Big Tree Climb: £30.00 per person
- Creepy Critters: £8.00 per person
These activities are separate to our general Admission Fees and additional fees may apply. Please note that Big Tree Climb and Mud & Guts activities do not require you to pay for a Day Ticket to take part, as these are both hosted outside our House & Gardens, near the car park. However Creepy Critters requires the purchase of a Day Ticket, unless you are a Season Ticket Holder.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Season Ticket Holders should purchase their tickets from the Members Ticket Area.
