Marketing Manager - Part Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join the team at the stunning Bowood House & Gardens , a prestigious destination set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.
Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Bowood House & Gardens, Wiltshire
Contract: Part-Time, Permanent (up to 20 hours per week)
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for championing and elevating the Bowood brand, promoting our unique offering at Bowood House & Gardens. We are looking for a dynamic and creative marketing professional, confident in both traditional and digital marketing channels, to drive awareness, engagement, and sales of Day Tickets, Season Tickets, group visits and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote Bowood House & Gardens to both existing and target audiences.
- Manage all marketing channels including social media, website performance, email marketing, and in-house collateral.
- Coordinate activity across departments to ensure a consistent and joined-up marketing approach.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager for Bowood Hotel Spa and Golf Resort to align estate-wide marketing efforts.
- Lead and inspire the team, managing day-to-day operations and fostering professional growth in line with Bowood’s Mission and Values.
- Oversee the maintenance and effective use of customer databases.
- Plan and support future sales activities aligned with the overarching marketing strategy.
- Ensure all departments are engaged and involved in marketing initiatives.
About You:
- Proven marketing experience within the visitor, leisure or heritage sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a team.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to campaign execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to represent the brand both internally and externally.
- A creative eye and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working on-site and engaging with all departments regularly.
