Head Housekeeper- vacancy in Wiltshire

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort as our Head Housekeeper. Set within the private estate of the Lansdowne family, Bowood is one of Wiltshire’s most distinguished destinations. The hotel offers a contemporary and elegant experience with forty three beautifully appointed bedrooms, all positioned within the grounds of a historic country house and surrounded by rolling parkland and breathtaking views across the Wiltshire countryside.

As Head Housekeeper you will play a key leadership role in maintaining the exceptional standards that define Bowood. You will lead, inspire and develop the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and presentation across our bedrooms, Spa and all public areas in line with our prestigious 4 Red Star rating.

Your responsibilities will include the co ordination and supervision of all housekeeping operations within the Hotel, Spa and Golf Clubhouse. You will work closely with our Reception, Reservations and Accounts teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. A strong understanding of team scheduling, effective rostering, payroll management and cost control relating to laundry and consumables is essential. You must also be confident in the safe use and storage of cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines.

This is a full time role of 45 hours each week, worked across five days including weekends.
