Apprentice Greenkeeper
Bowood Golf Club are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join the team as an apprentice greenkeeper.
Working an average of 42 hours each week you will be trained in a variety of greenkeeping tasks such as
• Greens maintenance including aeration
• Scarification
• Top dressing
• Course set up
• Preparing the course for Club and National tournaments
• Projects such as tee building and bunker renovation.
Working in partnership with Bridgwater and Taunton College, you will work towards a L2 greenkeeping qualification which will include on the job training as well regular visits from college tutors to support and review your progress.
