We are currently recruiting for someone to join our weekend House Guide team at Bowood House & Gardens.
Applicants must possess excellent customer service and communication skills and be passionate about learning and sharing Bowood’s history with all those that visit Bowood House. Experience working in a customer facing role would be beneficial, but not essential. You must have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for history to provide people with a memorable visit.
Induction training will be provided so you will be confident and prepared to give a warm welcome to our visitors.
Duties include, but are not limited to, welcoming and engaging with our visitors upon entry and during their time in Bowood House, assisting in the Terrace Gift Shop, and completing security checks. The option to conduct House Tours to visiting groups is also a possibility.
This is a paid role on a seasonal assignment, in line with Bowood’s open season (1st April-2nd November 2025). Please note that this is to fill a Saturday vacancy, with shifts between our opening hours of 10:30-17:30.
