Marketing Vacancy in Wiltshire

The Head of Marketing is a senior manager within the business, responsible for harnessing the Bowood brand and our wide range of business activities to promote the Estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing across all enterprises, with the primary commercial areas of focus being the Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort and the House & Gardens.

The Head of Marketing will be a highly knowledgeable marketing professional, equally comfortable working on both traditional and digital marketing activities. You will have the creativity and attention to detail necessary to plan and oversee compelling marketing campaigns, promoting the business to existing and target markets, with the ultimate objective of growing sales.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of leading small marketing teams, ideally with hospitality and/or leisure experience. Experience working in the heritage sector would be advantageous, though is not essential. You will have a professional, engaging and friendly personality, with the confidence to communicate our brand and strategy. Importantly, you will be a strong planner and people manager, enabling joined-up marketing across a diverse business.

This role is a permanent full-time contract (40 hours) based on site at the Bowood Estate. We offer a competitive salary (£50-60k DOE), company pension and 33 days holiday per year, including bank holidays.
